Visions of the Cosmos Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery April 14-20 May 2023
My second collaboration with Dr John Goldsmith was as a Specialist Screen Culture Consultant for his Visions of the Cosmos astrophotography exhibition. My 3345 word research document was developed into an installation symbolising the significant influence of human space exploration of the cosmos throughout film history 1900-2023.

Secrets of the Universe (SOTU) Short Experimental Film Jan 2023
I shot a nine second piece of footage of a fountain in the park and modified it to fit in with an unfinished symphonies. I cropped a square section of the water spray then experimented with various filters, transitions and effects as I edited the video and audio simultaneously while forming a vague non-narrative visual story of electro-biology.

The Fantastical Films of George Melies Rescored April 21 22, 2021
A screen culture event I developed for the Town of Victoria Park over a three-month period coordinating three musicians plus myself to compose new music for a selection of short films produced in the early 1900’s during the invention of the moving picture. I designed and distributed the marketing and recruited sponsors and designed the power point introduction given by a university film lecturer. A marquee modelled as an immersive cinema was installed inside a theatre with the music streamed via wireless headsets. The event rolled out smoothly and successfully.

I was called in to meet with the event coordinators to provide some guidance and was hired to manage a more efficient plan to deliver the event on time. I took on the technical production specifications, assisted with programming the awards ceremony plus designed and operated the power point presentation on the night.

My association with the Perth Zeitgeist Movement led to coordinating a unique conference providing daily transportation and requirements for renowned inventor and industrial designer Jacque Fresco. After a series of smaller successful events, I launched Perth’s first official horror film festival with an opening night Zombie Walk along Oxford St over four days with significant attendances. Perth's longest ever running local short film festival showcasing Low Budget High Adventure independent film productions. SPLIF grew from its beginnings in bars to featuring as part of Revelation PIFF held at the festival club I managed at The Bakery.
